West Lexham will be a showcase for innovative, sustainable rural development and environmental excellence. As well as offering direct learning through specific courses, both day and residential, the Centre will develop and nurture relationships with the local and wider community, and help incubate local business.

Courses will cover topics such as vegetable growing, cooking, herbs, furniture making, rural crafts, woodland management, ecology and biodiversity, carpentry, renewable energy, building and architecture, design, eco-retrofitting, business start-up, social enterprise.

The Quadrangle Trust
Kent, England

 The Quadrangle is a large Victorian model farmstead built in 1870 near Shoreham in Kent. Part of it is owned and managed by The Quadrangle Trust.

The aim of the Quadrangle Trust is to develop a centre for sustainable living and the creative arts.

The Quadrangle is 40 minutes train ride from central London so easily commutable for day workshops and courses. It also has the facilities for residential courses and workshops.

The space can be used for educational workshops, residential courses, yoga retreats, drama productions, min-conferences, exhibitions and film screenings amongst other things.
